I, on behalf of myself and my child, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions for Robotfun Academy (the "Program").

 

Parents Photo and Video Release:  I grant the Program and its affiliates the right to take images, audio and video of my child, and of anyone and anything else in range of my camera and microphone, to be shared with class participants and instructors. I hereby release Program from any claims, including but not limited to breach of privacy, which may arise as a result of the use or misuse by third parties of images, videos, or audio obtained from my / my child's devices during Program classes. I give permission to Program to use images, audio, and/or video of my child, individually or in groups, in print or in electronic media (such as Program website, brochures, WeChat, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), for purposes of marketing.

 

PRIVACY POLICY: Robotfun Academy is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, [e.g. to ship an order of equipment, register a child for competitions, etc]. We use email and WeChat to communicate with our clients about program details and schedules and share promotions, new products or services. Therefore, one valid email address is required in each student's records as long as the student takes classes with us. At all times, via our online records database, you can see what data we have about you, change, correct or delete any such data. Once you have stopped taking classes, you may opt-out of any future contacts from us at any time by contacting us via email address or phone number.

 

Responsibility for Your Child’s Actions: It is essential that you inform Program directly (and not through your child) in the event there is any camp activity in which you do not want your child to participate. Further, you understand that agree that in the event of your child causes any harm or damages to other campers, camp personnel or property, you will be fully responsible for such harm and damage, including responsible for indemnifying  Program and its personnel should they be forced to defend themselves in connection with any resulting lawsuits or claim.

 

Child Behavior Policy: In our Program, we expect students to be respectful and kind to others, follow instructions, and prioritize safety. They should maintain a suitable noise level, keep their belongings secure, and ensure a clean workspace. Students must refrain from bullying, disruptive behavior, damaging property, and using inappropriate language or actions. Minor infractions will receive warnings, repeated or serious issues may result in time-outs, parental involvement, class suspension or termination. In case of termination, student will receive prorated tuition refund.

 

Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge and understand that participation in the Program involves risks, including but not limited to, physical injury, illness, and property damage. I hereby assume all such risks and agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Robotfun Academy , its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or resulting from my child's participation in the Program.

 

Medical Treatment: I authorize the Program to provide emergency medical treatment to my child as necessary, including transportation to and from medical facilities. On behalf of myself and my child I AGREE to indemnify and hold harmless Program from any and all claims, demands, costs expense and compensation arising out of the course of, or in any way related to any personal injury to me or to my child.

 

Release and Waiver of Liability: On behalf of myself and my child, I hereby release and waive any and all claims, damages, and causes of action arising out of or related to the Program, including but not limited to, personal injury, illness, and property damage. This release and waiver of liability applies to all present and future claims, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to the Program.

 

Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Massachusetts, and any legal action arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be brought in the courts of Massachusetts.

 

I acknowledge that I have read this Agreement, understand its terms and conditions, and voluntarily agree to be bound by them. I understand that I am waiving certain legal rights on behalf of myself and my child by signing this Agreement.
